Burberry Spring 2016

Burberry making me miss my rugsacks.

#houseofeldridge

I've recently become a fan of makeup artist Lisa Eldridge. She has a Youtube channel that is really popular among make-up fans but her philosofy is completly different from all those beauty youtubers outhere, problably because she's a professional and an artist in the true sense of the word. She truly loves make-up, she's an avid collector of vintage make-up products and her signature look is the fresh and flawless effect.
Check out some of her videos so that you can see her apply microscopic amounts of products and achieve a natural "you but much better" look, it's almost magic.

Lisa has a new book that will soon live in my house.

"Styling-Muscle"

I'm always struggling to find new ways to wear what I already own, first because I can't keep buying new clothes just because I've worn something more then twice and second because dressing in new clothes doesn't always make me feel great, sometimes I'm well aware that I feel my best just wearing my old sweater from two season ago styled in a different way. We all have to use our "styling-muscle" to make the most of our outfits.
That's the fun part.

You have to think outside the box - yes, it's a dress but why shouldn't you wear it with some pants, especially if it's cold outside, and if dresses have skirts, why can't you wear a shirt or a sweater over it? Some people will argue that these silhouettes are not the best for short people but I argue that you should learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist, like Picasso said.

Here are some ideas I'm currently trying out!

Introducing bags

ACNE Studios lauched their first bag collection. It's a bunch of classics with a twist, the rope details, the colors. Good work Acne, loving the backpacks.

No. 21

I totally missed this collection from the italian brand N.º21 but I've redeemed myself. It's definitely going to influence me for the next season, I'm loooving the ruffled dresses over the t-shirts, shirts or tanks, I will use this in a near future. It has the "90's stamp" all over.

Are the 90's the next 70's? yes, please...
